Minimum Qualifying Percentage
Regardless of the final cut-off, candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying percentage to be considered for shortlisting, as stated in the RRB 2026 Notification: [18, 21]
- UR / EWS: 40%
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SC / ST: 30% [22, 23, 24, 25, 26]
Note: The 2026 recruitment cycle has a total of 22,195 vacancies Testbook. Cut-offs are expected to be slightly higher in zones with fewer vacancies or higher applicant density. [27, 28, 29, 30, 31]
